Terms and Conditions of “Thingyan Campaign for International Inward Remittance Users of Western Union to Win Gold Prizes”

  1. This Thingyan Campaign for International Inward Remittance Users of Western Union to Win Gold Prizes is valid from 25th March 2024 to 31st May 2024. 
  2. The purpose of this Campaign is to give KBZ Bank Customers, who receive international remittance funds via Western Union Customers, a chance to win gold prizes in celebration of Thingyan. 
  3. All KBZ Bank Customers who receive a minimum fund of 500,000 MMK via Western Union network during the Campaign period will automatically be eligible to participate in the Campaign and receive (1) token of Lucky Draw to win the prize. During this Campaign period, those who receive funds of 500,000 MMK or less will not be able to participate in the Campaign.
  4. Both the date of transfer and receiving of remittance must transfer and receiving within this Campaign period in order to be eligible to win one prize under this Campaign. Any remittance transfer and receiving beyond the Campaign period will not be entitled to receive the benefits of this Campaign.

  1. Total (5) Winners of this Campaign will be selected on a Lucky Draw Raffle basis and Winners will be announced via KBZ Bank’s Official Social Media Channels (with blue marks) and KBZ Bank Official Website not later than (5) days after the Campaign. The date of announcing the Winners may vary due to public holidays or circumstances beyond KBZ Bank’s control.
  2. The Winners agree and acknowledge that KBZ Bank may use the Winners’ names and phone numbers (not full digit) in order to announce the Winners of the prize through KBZ Bank’s Official Social Media Channels (with blue marks) and KBZ Bank Official Website. 
  3. Winners will also be notified by SMS from KBZ Bank. The Winner must send a screenshot of the SMS sent by KBZ Bank together with their name, NRC number, and phone number to KBZ Bank and KBZPay Facebook Page Messenger with a blue mark. (This information will not be used by KBZ Bank for any other purposes except to verify the winner. Moreover, KBZ Bank employees will not ask the Winners for charges, an OTP or PIN number, or any information related to the KBZ Bank Account for the prizes.)
  4.  If the Winners do not contact within (3) days after the announcement of the prize, another SMS will be sent. If you do not contact us within (3) days from that date, the prize will be canceled.
  5. After the information is complete and confirmed, KBZ Bank will notify the address where the prize can be collected through KBZ Bank and KBZPay Facebook Page Messenger. The Winners will have to pick up the prize at the pre-approved location by themselves within (10) days after the Winner’s announcement. If the Winners fail to do so, the prizes will be forfeited. 
  6. The Winners will receive the prize after careful inspection upon picking up, and KBZ Bank will not be responsible for any issues or discrepancies with the prize. 
  7. Prizes are non-transferable and may not be exchanged for cash or any other substitute unless explicitly stated.
  8. KBZ Bank employees will not contact participants in the Campaign to ask for OTP or PIN or KBZ Bank Account information.
  9. During this Campaign period, KBZ Bank Customers will be entitled to enjoy benefits stated in these Terms and Conditions, which will expire at the end of this Campaign period.
  10. KBZ Bank employees are forbidden to be eligible for this Campaign. 
  11. Customers are strictly forbidden to cheat in any other form or manner during this Campaign. KBZ Bank has the right to cancel and/or ban any Customer who is suspected to be cheating in any form and/or manner.
  12. In the event of any dispute arising between KBZ Bank Customers and KBZ Bank regarding this Campaign, such dispute will be examined carefully and finally resolved by the authorized officers of KBZ Bank without any prejudice to the statutory rights of the Customer.
  13. KBZ Bank, at any time, shall have the right to amend or cancel or terminate the Terms and Conditions and/or Campaign and the benefits or features regarding this Campaign conditionally for some reasons without giving any notice. 
  14. Customer Acknowledges and agrees that there is no right to receive any compensation as a result of cancellation or termination of this Campaign for some reasons and/or variation to these terms and conditions without giving any notice.
  15. All normal KBZ Bank Terms and Conditions and International Remittance Terms and Conditions shall apply.
  16. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.
  17. KBZ Bank reserves the right to revise initiatives introduced in response to COVID-19 and natural disasters or force majeure events at any time, as the situation evolves. KBZ Bank will not be liable to the Customer or any other party or be considered in breach of these Terms and Conditions for a failure to perform, or delay in performing, any such obligation set out in these Terms and Conditions while those circumstances continue.
  18. These Terms and Conditions are made in both English and Myanmar and both versions shall be equally authentic and effective. In case of any discrepancy between two versions, the Myanmar version shall prevail.
