“Open a savings account, GET life protected, and WIN Gold coin” Terms and Conditions for the Campaign

  1. Open a savings account, GET life protected, and WIN Gold coin” Campaign takes place from October 1, 2025, to January 31, 2026.
  2. The purpose of this Campaign is that a customer who opens a New Recurring Deposit Account at specified KBZ Bank branches and purchases Dai-ichi Life Pro or Dai-ichi LifeCARE policy together as a bundle in this Campaign period, shall get a One-year Policy Term Free Life Insurance Cover, as well as a chance to win many other prizes, including Gold Coins.  
  3. To participate in this Campaign, Customers must open new KBZ Recurring Deposit Accounts (Wedding Savings, Save for Home, and Yin Thway Suboo) with a minimum initial deposit of Five Hundred Thousand (500,000) MMK.
  4. Depending on the Tenor of the account selected by the Customer out of the three (3) KBZ Recurring Deposit Accounts
  5. For Recurring Product with Tenor 6 months & 9 months: customers must maintain the fixed monthly deposits of Five Hundred Thousand (500,000) MMK for the first three consecutive months

(b) For Recurring Product Tenor 12 months: customers must maintain the fixed monthly deposits of Five Hundred Thousand (500,000) MMK for the first six consecutive months. Customers must follow the terms and conditions of the respective account of KBZ Bank for the monthly due date.

  1. If the customer who has opened the KBZ Recurring Deposit Account in accordance with Clause (4) buys a (Life Pro/LifeCARE) policy during the Campaign period, the customer or the Policy owner’s immediate family member shall be got One-Year Policy Term Free Life Insurance Cover from Dai-ichi Life Insurance Myanmar. There shall not be limited on the premium amount for the main policy (Life Pro/LifeCARE). 
  2. One-Year Policy Term Free Life Insurance Cover of the Policy owner’s immediate family member provides Two Million (2,000,000) MMK protection for Death or Total Permanent Disability (TPD) during such one year, effective from the policy issuance date.
  3. For the One-year Policy Term Free Life Insurance Cover, Customers are not required to wait for the Life Pro/LifeCARE policy issuance or the free-look period.
  4. The One-Year Policy Term Free Life Insurance Cover of the Customer’s Immediate Family Member from Dai-ichi Life Insurance Myanmar will be automatically terminated in the following circumstances:
  1. if the customer cancels the Life Pro/LifeCARE policy within the free-look period, (or)
  2. If the customer cancels the Recurring Deposit account or fails to maintain the fixed monthly deposits within the required set period based on their chosen tenor.
  1. One-Year Policy Term Free Life Insurance Cover will still be in force until the policy end date, even though the Life Pro/LifeCARE policy is postponed by Dai-ichi Life Insurance Myanmar.
  2. The One-Year Policy Term Free Life Insurance Cover will be provided after 5 Dai-ichi Life Insurance Myanmar’s working days of bundle submissions (Main Policy Submission & Recurring Account Deposit Submission). NRC, Household list, or marriage certificate will be needed to ensure insurable interest between the (Life Pro/LifeCARE) Policy owner and immediate family members for the One-Year Policy Term Free Life Insurance Cover.
  3. Eligibility and issuance of the One-Year Policy Term Free Life Insurance Cover are subject to (including but not limited to) the company’s underwriting process and sanction screening process. 
  4. If a customer purchases more than one policy, the Life insured (LI) must be different to be eligible for free cover for each policy.
  5. KBZ Recurring Account holders or Life Pro/LifeCARE policy owners must be between 18 and 64 years old, and an immediate family member refers only to the spouse or children aged 18–64 (excluding parents). If no immediate family member is available, the Life Pro/LifeCARE policy owner will be eligible to receive the One-Year Policy Term Free Life Insurance Cover for themselves.
  6. In addition, for every One Million (1,000,000) MMK initial premium payment of a Dai-ichi Life Pro or Dai-ichi LifeCARE policy, the customer will receive 1 Lucky Draw ticket. Prizes include Gold Coins and various additional gift items such as Huawei Smart Watch Fit 4Pro, Smart Home Red Low Sugar Rice Cooker, Midea 3.5 Litres 1500W Air Fryer, and REMAX FP-6 60000mAh 100W LED Fast Charging Power Bank. (For example, get 1 ticket for Initial Premium =1 mil, get 2 tickets for Initial Premium = 2.5mil). However Policy Owners who have already been claimed for Death or Total Permanent Disability by the One-Year Policy Term Free Life Insurance Cover in accordance with Clause (6) are excluded from this Lucky Draw Campaign.
  7. Eligibility for the Lucky Draw ticket does not depend on the deposit amount maintained for KBZ Recurring Deposit Accounts. It is solely based on the initial premium amount of the main policy (Life Pro or LifeCARE). 
  8. If the policy issue month differs from the submission month, the eligible lucky draw month will be April 2026. February 2026 is the final eligible issue month, and all policies issued till this month will be entitled to participate in the final overall lucky draw in April 2026.
  9. During the Campaign period, policies that are canceled, discontinued due to unpaid premiums, or rejected for any reason by Dai-Ichi Life Insurance Myanmar will not be eligible for the Lucky Draw Program and the Lucky Draw ticket. (Excluding policy status Not Taken, Lapsed, and Reject.) 
  10. The number of Lucky Draw tickets earned will be confirmed to participants via SMS notification from Dai-Ichi Life Insurance Myanmar.
  11. During the Campaign Period, KBZ employees or, Dai-ichi Life permanent staff  who have purchased the Life Pro/LifeCARE policies under staff discounted policies, are be eligible to receive the One-Year Policy Term Free Life Insurance Cover benefit in accordance with Clause (5) but they are excluded from this Lucky Draw Campaign. 
  12. Participants must be aware that Dai-ichi Life Insurance Myanmar and KBZ Bank may modify or withdraw these Terms and Conditions of the Campaign without prior notice.
  13. In the event of any dispute arising from this campaign, the decision of KBZ and Dai-ichi Life Insurance Myanmar shall be final.
  14. In the event of a claim for the One-Year Policy Term Free Life Insurance Cover, the beneficiary must provide a bank statement for the purchased KBZ Bank Recurring products in order to verify whether the minimum deposit requirement has been maintained.
  15. Terms and Conditions for the Lucky Draw Winners

The winners will be selected using software that randomly picks participants. The lucky draw will be conducted transparently via Zoom, and each Policy owner will receive the Zoom link from their Bancassurance Financial Advisor.

  1. The lucky draw winners are not eligible to exchange the prize for cash.
  2. After the winners are announced, the respective Bancassurance Financial Advisor who sold the policy will contact the customer. In addition, Dai-ichi Life Insurance Myanmar will notify the winners via SMS and phone call.
  3. Winners are required to inform their Bancassurance Financial Advisor within 14 days of the announcement.
  4. The winner is not entitled to transfer the prize to anyone else. In addition, the winner is required to come to the designated location notified by their Bancassurance Financial Advisor to claim the prize within the specified days. Dai-ichi Life Insurance Myanmar will withdraw the prize if the prize is not collected within the specified date. The winner must accept the prize only after the prize has been checked at the time of collection. No exchange will be made for any prize that has already been received by the winner if there is any defect.

24. During this Campaign period, KBZ Customers will be entitled to enjoy the benefits stated in these Terms and Conditions, which will expire at the end of this Campaign period. 

25. KBZ employees will never ask the participants in the Campaign to ask for OTP, PIN, or KBZ Bank Account information.

26. Customers are strictly forbidden to involve in any other form or manner of fraudulent activities during this Campaign. KBZ has the right to cancel and/or ban any Customer who is suspected to be involved in any form and/or manner of fraudulent activities.

27. In the event of any dispute arising between KBZ Customers and KBZPay regarding this Campaign, such dispute will be examined carefully and finally resolved by the authorized officers of KBZ without any prejudice to the statutory rights of the Customer.

28. KBZ, at any time, shall have the right to amend or cancel or terminate the Terms and Conditions and or Campaign and the benefits or features regarding this Campaign, conditionally for some reasons without giving any notice.

29. Customer acknowledges and agrees that there is no right to receive any compensation as a result of cancellation or termination of this Campaign for some reasons and/or variation to these Terms and Conditions without giving any notice.

30. All normal KBZ Bank terms and conditions shall apply.

31. Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.

32. KBZ reserves the right to revise initiatives introduced in response to COVID-19 and natural disasters or force majeure events at any time, as the situation evolves. KBZ will not be liable to the Customer or any other party or be considered in breach of these Terms and Conditions for a failure to perform, or delay in performing, any such obligation set out in these Terms and Conditions while those circumstances continue.

33. These Terms and Conditions are made in both English and Myanmar, and both versions shall be equally authentic and effective. In case of any discrepancy between the two versions, the Myanmar version shall prevail.
