The prestigious award from UK-based Euromoney, one of the world’s top publications for international banking and financial markets, was its third consecutive win in as many years. The recognition accorded to KBZ Bank was based on an analysis of its market-leading performance, which looked at both quantitative and qualitative data of its results, strategically as well as financially, between April 2015 and March 2016.

Vice Chair of KBZ Bank and KBZ Group of Companies, Daw Nang Than Htwe winning the ASEAN Business Advisory Council’s first“ASEAN Woman Entrepreneur of the Year 2015 Award” since the launch of ASEAN Business Awards in 2007. The KBZ Group of companies was acclaimed as the most transparent in Myanmar by the Myanmar Centre for Responsible Business (MCRB) on the basis of its first Pwint Thit Sa Project report. The MCRB report whose findings were based on a study of the websites of the leading 60 companies in Myanmar. The report assessed companies on their transparency in terms of anti-corruption, organizational structure, human rights, health & safety and environmental responsibility.
